FieldCharts publishes general reference data, such as refrigerant saturation pressures, thread and drill sizes, wire properties and pipe dimensions, plus calculators built on that data. These are not specifications for any particular equipment, product, system or installation. Manufacturer charging charts, installation manuals, product data and the codes adopted where you work take precedence over anything on this site.
Not professional advice
Nothing on FieldCharts is engineering, design, legal or other professional advice, and using the site does not create a professional or advisory relationship with Goods Media LLC. Each calculator applies the formula shown on its page to the numbers you enter. You are responsible for your inputs, for checking results against the governing manufacturer data and codes, and for every decision you make with them.
Your responsibility and risk
The work these numbers relate to can be dangerous: high-pressure and flammable refrigerants, electrical circuits, and machinery. Do that work only if you are trained and, where the law requires it, certified or licensed to do it. You use the site and act on its content at your own risk.
No warranty
The site and its content are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, completeness, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Goods Media LLC works to keep values accurate and corrects confirmed errors, but data can contain mistakes, published sources sometimes disagree with each other, and regulations change. Each page shows the date it was last reviewed.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Goods Media LLC and its members, employees and contractors are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for any loss of property, profits, data or business, arising from use of or inability to use the site or reliance on its content, even if advised of the possibility. Because the site is free, Goods Media LLC's total liability for any claim related to the site is limited to one hundred US dollars ($100). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limits; where that is so, these limits apply to the extent allowed.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Goods Media LLC against claims, losses and costs, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your misuse of the site or your breach of these terms.

Pages cite and link to third-party sources such as manufacturer charts, standards and government documents. Goods Media LLC does not control those sites and is not responsible for their content, accuracy or availability; their own terms apply. Citing a source does not mean its publisher endorses FieldCharts. FieldCharts is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by any refrigerant, equipment or fastener manufacturer, standards organization or government agency named on the site. Trade names such as Opteon, Solstice, Freon, Genetron and Puron belong to their owners and are used only to identify products.
Using the content
You may use the charts and calculators for your own work, print them, and link to any page. The underlying facts (physical properties, standard sizes, government data) are not owned by anyone. These terms may change; the date on this page shows the last update, and continued use of the site means you accept the current version. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect.
